An inductive reasoning test most often presents sets or series where the objective is to predict the next or missing figure. In selection assessments for jobs you will often find inductive reasoning tests.
The general aim is to measure your ability to reason logically as one of the possible measures for intelligence.

Instructions inductive reasoning test
Questions 1 to 7 present a series of figures with one of the figures replaced by a question mark. It's your job to figure out which of the four options is the logical replacement of the question mark. Questions 8 to 10 present 2 sets of 2 figures with a letter and/or number pattern. The two sets have a green or orange colored indicator. A fifth figure is then presented without the colored indicator. It is you job to figure out to what group this fifth figure belongs.
